Dr. Circe Olson Woessner, director of the Museum of the American Military Family & Learning Center, wrote a nice article about our project for The Independent, a newspaper in Edgewood, NM. Here is a link to it. Please take a moment to go take a look at it.
Recently VVA chapter 996 President Jake Lopez and his wife, Lisa, were guests on the radio show "Calling All Vets" with Chuck Zobac. They talked about the chapter and the Memorial Wall at Angel Fire project. Here is a link where you can listen!

The April 2019 edition of The Guardian, the newsletter of the New Mexico Department of Veterans Services, published a mention of the donation made by American Legion Post 25, from Clovis, NM.


March 11, 2019
We received a donation today from the American Legion Post 25 in Clovis. It is a $5,000 donation for the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Angel Fire. Dale Movius presented the check today at the Roundhouse on Military Day at the Legislature. This is a great boost for our fund-raising efforts!
March 9-10, 2019
VVA Chapter 996 had a table at the Santa Fe Home Show at the convention center to raise money and awareness for the Memorial Wall. Pictured here is Jake Lopez (chapter president) and Jerry Martinez (chapter vice president, Color Guard Coordinator and Memorial Wall Committee Chairman).
